Tim Clode

Tim Clode (Managing Director) is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, specialising in training and consultancy in official statistics. Having held a number of prominent statistical positions in UK Government, he has more recently undertaken key statistical roles internationally, notably for the OECD and Abu Dhabi Government.

At the UK Office for National Statistics, Mr. Clode was Head of Statistical Training and Consultancy, developing and delivering statistical training programmes across numerous UK Government Departments and at the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat). He was also Head Statistician for Service Sector Prices and Manufacturing Output, providing a key measure of inflation used in the UK National Accounts and by the Bank of England, as well as running the largest business manufacturing survey in the UK.

At the UK Statistics Authority, Mr. Clode was Head of International Relations, leading efforts to strengthen UK statistical interests abroad. At the OECD, Mr. Clode worked on measuring well-being, coordinating regional events in Tokyo, Rabat, and Paris; and organising the OECD World Forum on Statistics, Knowledge and Policy in Delhi. 

Mr. Clode has led a number of international consultancies, particularly for National Statistical Institutes in the Caucasus, the Balkans, and the Middle East. He holds a BSc in Applied Statistics.
